This piece is part of my Feathered Friends collection, where color, connection, and personality take center stage. I’ve always been drawn to birds for their energy and presence, and here, these two feel like they have something to say, whether it’s a quiet moment or a lively exchange. Either way, they bring a sense of life and companionship into the space around them.
This work begins as an original painting and is reproduced on archival paper, then mounted to a tin ceiling tile with a hand-painted, antiqued border. Made using ceiling tiles produced from original late nineteenth-century dies, each piece carries a sense of history while remaining bright, bold, and full of joy. As far as I know, there’s nothing else like them anywhere.
